Sziget Festival

Sziget Festival is the largest event in its category in Middle-Europe. In 2006 almost 400.000 guests visited the festival to see the several concerts in all kind of music styles, like pop, rock, jazz, blues, reggae, punk, hip-hop and electronic music. The visitors can enjoy many cabaret and fashion shows, listen to literature performances and buy many special items of the ethno, folk art and many other shops.

20^th of August - St. Stephen's Day

On the 20^th August Hungarian people celebrate the anniversary of the Hungarian constitution. The event is accompanied by monumental fireworks, the exciting Red Bull Air Race competition and many concerts, shows, all over the beautiful River Danube. During this event several folks art shops offer special handicraft and the buffets delicious, typical Hungarian meals for the visitors.

Connection Concert

The Connection Concert will be organized every year by a large telephone company, on the 56'osok Square. This is a very special event, because it can be visited by more hundred thousands of people, for free of charge. Every year come superstars to Hungary, like 2007 Bryan Adams, 2006 Pink, 2005 Lionel Richie and many others.
